焚火/bonfire

最近、ご近所さんと焚火をしました。

初めは焼き芋を突然今日しようと言う話になり、それならうちに余ってるお肉も焼こう、ピザも焼こう、最終的に寒いので焚火をしようとなりました。

子供達はとても楽しんでいました。焚火はこんなものも燃えるだろうかと、木の枝や割り箸を燃やして検証し遊びだしました。

そもそも火は危ないのですが、子供のそんな姿をみると、自分の子供の時もこんなんだったなと懐かしくなりました。

Recently, I had a bonfire with my neighbors.

At first, my neighbor suddenly thought about trying to make roasted sweet potatoes that day, so we decided to bake the meat which was our leftover at home, as well as pizza, and then finally, we made a bonfire because it was cold.

The kids were having a lot of fun.

They wondered if there is such a thing that would burn on a bonfire, and the kids started playing by burning tree branches and disposable chopsticks.

Basically, fire is dangerous, but when I saw such children having fun, I missed my fun childhood.
